Capital J is a Canadian drum and bass DJ and record producer with over 24 yrs in the music industry. From a young age Capital J was interested in battle deejaying. By the age of thirteen he was winning London, Ontario's foremost scratch competitions. In 1996 Capital J had his first Vinyl release and soon moved to Toronto becoming highly involved with drum and bass / jungle scene. Within two months he was awarded DJ of the month by Tribe Magazine. He followed that up by releasing the magazine’s top selling mixtape by a feature DJ. He has over 30 releases on some of the top labels including Mix & Blen' owned by Kenny Ken, N20 Records, & many more. More recently, Capital J has founded VIP Dubz Recordings - a strong entity in the jump up drum and bass scene.
