The Tyrants are a 3-piece American rock band from Mpls, MN. The band started as a side project in 2007 by founding members John Deiley and Jared Kantor; long time friend Kevin Sullivan joined the band on bass and the group decided to go full time with the project. The band released a 3 song demo entitled Yo, We Got That Flame! in the fall of 2010 that was well received on the local and regional scene. Their follow-up EP, Just The Tip, was released on April 16, 2011.
