Jackie Kean

Based out of the Twin Cities, Jackie Kean offers groovin’ indie vibes with a splash of '70s rock inspiration. A truly collaborative project, the personality of each member can be felt in their sound, creating an expressive brand of indie rock.

Conceived through connections made at Twin Cities music and production colleges, Jackie Kean has been playing their original setlist around Minneapolis and St. Paul since 2019, and dove into recording their first full-length album when the COVID-19 virus arrived in 2020. Their self-titled debut, Jackie Kean, is packed with powerful hooks and searing solos, delivering a distinct classic rock sound. Its release date was March 25, 2022.

On the stage, Trenton Skalicky leads the way with vocal lines ranging from powerful and soaring, to playful and catchy. Flanking him is Mike Sousa, who plays the guitar with a bold, mesmerizing, fingerpicking style. Linus Hennessee lays it down tastefully behind the kit, injecting life and energy into each tune.
