Wizards Are Real

Inspired by the mid-90’s Matador roster and fusion jazz, June of ’44 and Morphine, Curly Chalker and John Coltrane, Wizards Are Real are old friends and long-time musical collaborators. Playing together as a band for two years, Wizards Are Real released their debut self-titled LP in March 2011. Started as a side project to a side project in a basement bedroom with four foot ceilings, the band has an unorthodox instrumentation: tenor and baritone sax and pedal steel over a rock rhythm section. Wizards Are Real will sound good to your dad and to your creepy older brother.
