Aaron Simmons

Aaron Simmons is a country singer-songwriter from Stewartville, Minnesota. A singer his entire life, he always dreamed of being the next Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, or any of the other country artists of that era his mother listened to in the car. It wasn't until he picked up a guitar for the first time at 18 for his senior choir solo when a future in music slowly started to take shape.

Just six months after he played his first chord, Simmons was a charter member of the Root River Crawdaddies, a "summers-only" bluegrass band of recent Stewartville graduates and friends. Two years in, he moved to Moorhead, MN to go to school. Soon after, he started writing and performing his own songs to whoever would listen.

Six years later, Simmons, now 26, has established himself as an infectious performer, an authentic and storytelling songwriter, and one of the hardest-working musicians in the midwest, driving an average of over 3,000 miles a month on top of being a traveling videographer to help keep the lights on.

Simmons, a member of the Midwest Country Music Organization, released his solo-written debut album, Third St SW, on August 28, 2020, and it peaked at #5 on the iTunes Country charts.
That work ethic and local success have prompted his move to Nashville to give everything he has to his dreams.

As an artist, Simmons doesn't take his inspiration from just one place. He strives for the stage energy of Garth Brooks, Thomas Rhett, and Russell Dickerson. He is moved by the songwriting of Kacey Musgraves, Sam Hunt, and Tenille Townes. He also employs the "I am who I am" mentality of Brothers Osborne and Eric Church.

By learning from so many others, he has been able to firmly dial in who he is as a songwriter, an artist, and a person.
