Anand Wilder is best known as co-founder of the '00s indie rock band Yeasayer. In 2022, Wilder released his post-Yeasayer debut solo album, I Don’t Know My Words, on Last Gang Records, largely heralded by the likes of Pitchfork, NPR Music, and NME for bringing to mind the acoustic instrumentation and precise arrangements of Donovan, T. Rex, Aldous Harding, Elliott Smith, and Fairport Convention.
His most recent project, Psychic Lessons (out 8/22 via LAST GANG), is a swirling indie-psychedelic pop journey blending lush textures and haunting melodies. Known for shaping the experimental pop sound of the 2010s, Wilder channels his boundary-pushing instincts into a cinematic solo vision. Fans of Yeasayer, Panda Bear, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Grizzly Bear will find a new obsession here.
