THE HISTORY

Since 1993, TRAILER TRASH has drawn enthusiastic crowds at Lee's Liquor Lounge in downtown Minneapolis. Frontman Nate Dungan defines the band's style simply as "honky tonk music," spanning the gamut from country and swing to blues and rock.

The six members of Trailer Trash have done time in many local groups such as the Gear Daddies, the Jayhawks, the Honeydogs, Great Northern, and Ol Yeller. Having paid their dues on the local scene, and confident in their ability to entertain any crowd, they enjoy turning on new generations to the classic sound of American roots music.

After fourteen years, Trailer Trash has enjoyed its fair share of Twin Cities musical history. They have found themselves performing at Jesse Ventura’s Innaugural Ball at the Target Center, playing a Vikings game on a showmobile stage in 6 degree weather, and entertaining at the Gay Pride Parade on Hennepin Avenue. The band has provided the soundtrack to many Twin Cities courtship and wedding reception. Somewhere in that time, the group racked up six or seven Minnesota Music Awards, appeared in two movies, and put out four albums.
