“The First Lady of Sweet" pioneered the Twin Cities’ Neo-Burlesque movement, helping to create and direct Lili's Burlesque Revue as well as starring in revues, cabarets, and variety shows across town. Audiences across the country have been seduced, charmed, and made giddy by her sincere smile, fit physique, and chameleon prowess.  Known for her fierce figure, high-energy choreography, hoop-tease and her patented move, "The Paint-Shaker," this dancing powerhouse has been given such taglines as, "The Seismic Shake from the Land of 10,000 Lakes" and, "The Fastest Ass in the U.S."

Along with celebrating a decade as the favorite “Cyclone Seductress & Tornado Teaser” of the Twin Cities, 2013 marked her sixth year performing and fifth year competing in the annual Burlesque Hall of Fame International Reunion & Pageant, where she won the title of "Most Dazzling Dancer." She’s also been selected for national festivals such as New Orleans Burlesque Festival and Show-Me Burlesque Festival, has shared the bill alongside the best headliners in the industry, and is a regularly featured guest and emcee of Twin Cities queer hits such as Dykes do Drag, Dragged Out, The Dirty Queer Show, The Down and Dirty Show, Lip Service, and at special events such as Booby-Trap and Twilight. "The Sapphic Stripteuse with Moves to Astound & Seduce" may lean toward the ladies, but is "The Equal Opportunity Teaser", and has been voted one of the World's Top 100 Burlesque Performers. In 2011, the stripperformer bared her love of literature by introducing “Naked Girls Reading" to the Twin Cities.  She also started the epic draglesque dance party Grown & Sexy, and begun acting, playing the lead role of 1970's lesbian feminist activist "Ivy" in the movie "Fertile Ashes." 2012 kept her just as busy with the premiere of her Soirée series and starring in another film short, "Secrets for Mom" about a conservative Republican congresswoman who asks her lesbian daughter to keep her engagement a secret until after the election.

In addition to awards and recognition, 2013 proved its fabulosity with the official launch of Sweetpea Productions, the umbrella company that covers and promotes all aspects of Sweetpea's work: event planning, production, promotion and entertainment. performance education, and personal training & lifestyle coaching. Also exciting is the addition of the new collaborations "Queer Lens" Twin Cities Lesbian Film Series and Burlesque Dolls' Diversi-Tease Weekend Showcase. As much as she loves to undulate and titillate, she’s also out to advocate and motivate! When not on stage, Sweetpea is a proud spokesperson for such charity events as Dining Out for Life, volunteers for equality groups like PFUND, Human Rights Campaign, Minnesotans United for All Families, and was a facilitator and personal trainer for Rainbow Health Initiative's Pounds-4-Pride campaign.
