Seattle's most animated rapper, Grieves, is finding a place in the top rated playlists of thousands of iPods across the nation. He brings high intensity rap with the real world feel that underground has become known for. Grieves steps into the ring packing complex and engaging lyrics, a witty sense of humor, brutal honesty, and original beats that you can't help but nod your head too. With unrivaled emotion, Grieves will tell you a story in a way nobody else can.

Grieves (Ben Laub, 24) was born in Chicago, Illinois. His father, Leon, immersed him in music at a young age, taking him to blues and jazz clubs. After moving to Fort Collins, Colorado, Grieves discovered punk rock and shortly thereafter, hip hop. Coerced by the genre, Grieves started rapping at 16 and moved to Seattle at 19. Here he is eight years later, developing an ever growing fan base from the west coast to the east coast.

Grieves has just released his debut full length album, Irreversible, which features guest appearances by Mr. Lif, Mad Son (of Unknown Prophets), Typecast, P Smoov, Rik Rude, Symmetry and Helen Chance.
