Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo are pleased to announce the release of their debut full-length album, The Fables of the Cloth. Recorded, mixed, and mastered throughout 2010 in Minneapolis, MN, The Fables of the Cloth is an exploration of rustic sounds with world flourishes built upon a cyclical story arc reflecting on the historical nuances of human spirituality. Having been featured on The Current, the first taste of the album, “Pierce the Veil,” expands from layers of cutting electric guitar into a hard-stomping call and response before retreating into a full-fledged desert dance groove. Elsewhere, “Celestial Twin” pleads with a distant, mystical teacher for answers in the cosmos while “Tainted by Adam” professes its love for the natural world, rejecting the conventions of popular religion.
