John Hile’s all-local production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s

smash hit “Jesus Christ Superstar” returns to the Mainroom Stage at

First Avenue & 7th St Entry in downtown Minneapolis for its 15th season.



For fourteen seasons of this traditional performance, the musicians have

been greeted with rave reviews and ecstatic Minneapolis audiences. After

a year away, the band and choir, cast and crew are looking forward to

returning to the Mainroom Stage for another performance to be held on

*Friday, April 30th, 2010 at 7:00PM.*



A talent-laded Minnesota cast brings impressive performances to the

stage for this production. The gender-defying role of Jesus Christ is

beautifully sung by Katy Thomasberg, with Jay Davis as Judas Iscariot

and Diane Martinson as Mary Magdelene. Director John Hile, who is also

getting his hands into the role of Pontius Pilate, brings these gifted

actors and singers together with a fiery orchestra and a sensational choir.



The many local performers making their way to the stage include Greg

Nesbitt, Ron Alpert, Dave Berg, Drew Miller, Rob Schwartz, Ric Lee, Kip

Overbo, Jennifer J. Holt, Steve Clarke and James Diehl for an energetic,

high-impact show.
