Loring Theater was first built as a silent film theater, opening its doors in 1920. Since then it has operated as a vaudeville house, an Evangelistic Auditorium, The Cricket Theater, and The Music Box Theatre. In December 2010, on the building’s 90th birthday, the building returned to its original name, Loring Theater and re-imagined itself as a modern day variety house.
