Yasen Marie is an all-female folk/rock band from the Twin Cities. They have been playing together since 2007 all around Minnesota. Their music is original but is inspired by many different musicians and genres. With all the music that they create, their talent and musicianship is obvious. Their harmonies and instrumentals thrive as they draw their influences from artists such as Ani Difranco and Alanis Morissette. Their lyrics are powerful and passion apparent as they express their music through their life's tribulations and triumphs
