Venus on Fire (VOF) is a nationally acclaimed act with an indie feel. Certified by The National Breaking News Feed, VOF boasts an eclectic style of music with mass media appeal. Leng Moua and Carl Smith compliment female front Tory Envy with an irresistible clash of melodic, yet rock pop, and her rocking good looks compliment her signature sound. VOF spawned in Minnesota, but quickly moved to national, underground fame. The band was featured on a Hot Topic tour and worked with Grammy award winning producer, Drew Correa (Lil Wayne) for their debut disc. Shortly after, VOF decided to take their new wave meets rock sound and collide it with pop/punk showmanship.

The result? The re-introduction of a VOF. In the fall of 2011, VOF plans a follow up disc and a rash of tours nationwide. In the meantime, the band is currently in the studio and sponsored by JumpStart Ink. JumpStart Ink is proud to be an associate member of The Academy for Recording Arts & Sciences. The company is selective with their client list, which boasts a Platinum selling artists and work with Jack Douglas (Grammy winning producer to John Lennon’s Double Fantasy album) and Jim Wirt (Hoobastank, No Doubt and Fiona Apple). As the band continues to gather media interest, such as Inside Entertainment and Unplug Magazine, they remember what is most important to them, the art of their craft and their fans.
