MISS Q

Growing up in Chicago I was exposed to different genres in dance music. I grew up with early 80's Synth/ New Wave music. I enjoyed Italo at House parties with talented DJ friends, to underground ebm/techno raves in my hometown Chicago. Exploring the night life was a must! I became a night club enthusiasts exploring venues that played great music.

On my list where places like: Neo, Smartbar, Latebar, Holiday Club, Nocturna night, Exit, Delilah's. Not to mention Berlin a great gay nightclub, the list goes on and traces from downtown Chicago, Pilsen, Chinatown and the North/South side of Chicago. I followed where the music led. From the obscure dark wave to the pop new wave, its beats and synths have always captured my interest.

As a creative type i've always enjoyed painting with music. Music & Art are a great marriage. Many movements with those to combined can spark great projects and influence each other in the process. That is what work in creating with my selection of tunes. I enjoy bringing music to everyone, and sharing those tunes we all love to dance too!

Past DJ History:LOVECRAFT (Horror theme nightclub) in Portland, OR. Resident DJ for 2 years and had two nights at the Lovecraft nightclub venue.

I was very active in the Goth scene, and was a regularly guest DJ at Hive (Goth/Darkwave/Industrial) night at the Star Theater in Downtown Portland. I also ran a New Wave night at Rae's Lakeview Lounge in NW Portland, on selected Saturdays. Was invited to Dj for many special events in Portland, from art openings. Special product reveals, Fundraisers, and Portland's Kink fest. Now living in NE Minneapolis MN.
