General B and The Wiz are an adventurous band collectively out of Minneapolis, MN, Eagle River, Alaska, and Decorah, IA. By stretching rock to its limits, they put on a live show with the energy of an electric storm and the power of a hurricane- lending their audience to a rowdy experience, comparable to that of a rock and roll stampede. With blues-based groove guitar, powerful bass lines, gritty vocals, and drum fills to burst lungs, they strive to make music as enjoyable for a crowd as it is for themselves. Their original music varies from groove rock, to blues, to gritty dance, while their influences range from the 60's to 2011. General B and The Wiz self-produced and released their first album General B and The Wiz in May 2010, and are hard at work recording their second effort with a projected release in Spring of 2012.
