Cal Scruby

Hip Hop artist / lyricist Cal Scruby is a 27-year-old product of Cincinnati, Ohio. He started rapping in 2011 with his first release, Best Foot Forward, which he recorded while studying at The Ohio State University. He followed the release with a weekly series of acapella videos called “Scruby Snacks” that created a buzz in the state of Ohio.

Cal Scruby’s first project with Riveting, House In the Hills was successfully released internationally on iTunes, Google Play and Spotify and charted on Billboard. His single “Ain’t Shit Change” featuring Chris Brown was premiered on Billboard in December 2015 along with the music video; which received over 6 million views on Cal’s Vevo page. 2017 started off strong for Cal, who booked 17 shows across the nation in the first 3 months of the year, more shows than he did in all of 2016. Additionally, Cal has just released his second EP Long Story Short worldwide on iTunes, Google Play and Spotify. In June of that summer, Cal was featured on the title song of Chris Brown’s official documentary, both titled "Welcome To My Life”.
