Ballroom Boxer

The raw tones and swift melodies of Ballroom Boxer flourished from the music rich cities of Akron, OH, Chicago and Nashville. In less than a year, the band’s indie rock n’ roll swagger has been experienced in NYC, Boston, Nashville, a Lollapalooza After-party, Akron, OH and SXSW in Austin, TX. .

Building on past accolades including opening up for Gentlemen Hall, Velvet Revolver, Scott Lucas & The Married Men, Buckcherry and headlining the Cleveland Music Festival, the band started messing with western, punk, folk, 80’s pop, rock and went into the studio with producer Jim Stewart (30 Seconds to Mars, Plain White T’s). What came out of it? A culmination of Rubber City’s rock n’ roll edge, Music City’s country roots and the Windy City’s big shoulder blues. True to the name, Ballroom Boxer is a dichotomy between heavy-hearted, genuine emotion and ferocious self-reflection and excess. They’re what you get when you drop the Great Gatsby, Johnnie Walker and fireworks in a blender and hit liquefy
