Apollo Cobra

After ten years of working together in various bands as Trombone and guitar, Aaron Stoehr and Dylan Nau decided to forgo their funk/horn band heritage and look towards something new. They both decided to go full time with their interests in other instruments (Synthesizers, bass) to create a new pop/dance music sound. After some song writing they called upon Estate drummer/programmer and old friend Jessie Lesmeister. Lesmeister accepted the challenge and Apollo Cobra has been moving up very quickly.

Armed with synthesizers, keyboards, bass, vocals, guitar, trombone, drums and more electronics, Apollo Cobra' live show is an intense fusion of dance, rock, funk and soul. After a year of experimentation, Apollo Cobra has managed to fuse electronic music with a live band unlike anyone else and all without a laptop!! They recently released their second album entitled Motherland to glowing reviews and also landing in the Top 20 CMJ RPM charts for 8 weeks peaking at #12 and peaking at #108 on CMJ's Top 200. The summer is filled with festivals and then this fall Apollo Cobra hits the road toward the East Coast to perform at the CMJ conference. With 100's of gigs under their belt, Apollo Cobra has proven they are currently the best original dance band to come out of the Midwest and their live show is full of amazing energy. FUN BAND!
