Have an event to remember at First Avenue, the Turf Club, or the Palace Theatre!
First Avenue is Minneapolis' historic nightclub, made famous by Prince's Purple Rain, and listed by Rolling Stone as one of The Best Big Rooms in America (#3). Internationally recognized as a premier concert location, it offers a one-of-a-kind venue that just could be the perfect location for your private function.
The Turf Club is known today as the “best remnant of the 1940s,” and one of the Twin Cities’ most popular venues for live music. Located in St. Paul, just off the Green Line on University Avenue, the "Turf" is a smaller venue with small-town charm.
Built in 1916, and newly re-opened in March of 2017, the Palace Theatre hosts a wide array of contemporary music, comedy, and other live entertinment. The room fills a gaping hole in the Twin Cities' music venues with first-class sound and sightlines, and is co-managed by First Avenue and Chicago's JAM Productions.

"City Pages loves to throw a party at First Avenue! In fact we hosted two of our biggest events there, City Pages' 25th Birthday Party and the First Annual "Best Of The Twin Cities" celebration. The versatility of space within the venue provides a lot of different options for layout, and working with the staff has been a great experience. Their hospitality and expertise collaborating with us to produce a great show, whether it be music, food, or fashion is something special."

"The First Avenue staff was wonderful to deal with during the planning of my wedding. I was hearing from all my guests how friendly and helpful the staff members were while they were there. They did such a great job preparing everything, and it looked beautiful. DJ Smitty did played a mix of everything I love, and stuff the rest of my extended family could enjoy. Many of my guests told me it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Some even suggested that I get married every month, because it was so much fun!"
