Holy smokes! I'm still pretty jacked up from the Friday Night Fights at First Avenue. Seeing the Mainroom transformed into a boxing ring was quite the sight and then to fill that ring with some of the Midwest's best boxers! Ouhwee! It was awesome to say the least. 

It's pretty disgusting outside right now so I thought I'd just write a little something to lift all of our spirits. And that little something is that spring is coming. And when spring comes, along follows all of the awesome bands that couldn't brave the cold (or you know - were just doing other things). Check the rundown below for some really exciting shows that were recently announced and enjoy some videos. 

Now. That's not to say that there aren't some really great shows still happening during these waning winter months.

In the beginning of February there's two great opportunities to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. I can't even begin to describe the complete devastation the country has faced and I'm sure you're already well aware of it. But this is where we all need to step up and do what we can.
