Spring 1987
Historical Question if anyone's around from back then:
In 1987, I was at First Ave for a Cabaret Voltaire show. The video they showed before the opening band featured a dead goat impaled on spears that were sticking out of a robotic machine. The machine moved back and forth and the spears banged the goat up and down. It was a horrible video, but it stuck with me. Does anyone remember this?
Also, someone needs to promote this forum better. People love message boards and there should be a lot more activity here.
Concert Mystery, Circa 2006
Gnarls Barkley played a show August 2nd, 2006, although a different band was initially supposed to play that night. Does anyone remember who this band was? I thought it may have been Arctic Monkeys, but that seems to be incorrect.
