The Original Truth Squad™ was thrilled to be asked to throw one of the first parties in the newly re-named and re-designed Record Room at First Ave (former VIP Room), but with great sadness we found out the date we got was the weekend all three of us will be attending a DJ convention in Helsinki, Finland. 

We were about to kindly turn away First Ave's offer, but then we realized we couldn't let this one get away. A little known fact about The Original Truth Squad™ is that our dad's were in a DJ "crew" together back when they were our age. They went by a different name back then, but since they all become dads within a span of 2 weeks in 1984, they changed their name to the Dads Of America! 

They had not played any kind of party together since The City of Richfield's Youth Chili Cook Off of 98, but now The Dads Are Back!!

We told the Dads to assemble a solid line up to make sure the jams last all night. They did not disappoint.
