The Apples in stereo

Seminal indie-rock band The Apples in Stereo formed in 1993 in Denver, Colorado. The band consists of guitarist/vocalist (and Elephant 6 Collective co-founder) Robert Schneider, guitarist John Hill, and bassist Eric Allen. Together they have created eight full-length recordings and a slew of singles and EPs. Their most recent album, New Magnetic Wonder, represents the band at their most spirited and accomplished. It is released February 2007 via Simian Records, Elijah Wood's new label, and Yep Roc Records/Redeye Distribution.

Special Guests / Opening Acts:

GENERATIONALS

Formed in 2008 by ex-Eames Era guitarists/songwriters Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer, New Orleans-based indie pop outfit Generationals craft hook-filled indie pop that draws liberally from rock and pop's '50s, '60s, and '70s heydays, while maintaining enough modern sensibilities to remain relevant in the MP3 age. Like their Park the Van contemporaries Dr. Dog, Spinto Band, and Capitol Years, Generationals' lo-fi recording techniques are buffered by their advanced musical chops, resulting in a clever new take on sugar pop psychedelia.
