SYSTEM is an event series framed around classic Midwest warehouse style parties from the early to late 90s. Techno to house played by the best performers on a giant sound system in a dark atmosphere with serious intensity. SYSTEM started in January of 2010 in the Record Room of the famous Minneapolis night club First Avenue.

Every Saturday in The Record Room
Saturday nights in the Record Room are thudding with the sounds of the underground while an eclectic mix of party-goers gather downstairs for Too Much Love. The music upstairs - a fervent big brother to the sounds below - is hosted by techno heads Particle People, techno/house dynamos Loud + Clear, and funky house doctors HotDish. These three crews work collectively to institute a dance-culture favorite in Minneapolis - fittingly dubbed BLACK (if you've been in the Record Room, you know why).

ACG3 aka THE GOAT
A. Coleman Greenhaw’s fascination with the musical world began at an early age after winning his first record player during a school carnival. He spent hours dancing to his mother’s 7″ single of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams” and was later absorbed by the music of Roger Waters and Jim Morrison. It was in these first moments of intrigue, when a child pieces together a self recognition through sound and the physical reaction that follows, that Coleman began to understand the fundamental elements of rhythm and dance.
