A monthly dance party from Burlesque of North America and Moon Goons, bringing you DJ sets from Mike 2600 and Jonathan Ackerman with special guests each month. Rather than focusing on a particular genre or musical style, EXTRA LARGE gives each DJ ample time and elbow room to shift between everything from hip hop to disco to dancehall to funk to Moombahton to classic party bangers. EXTRA LARGE is all about big tunes, big sound, and big fun!

MIKE 2600
MIKE 2600 is a 15-year veteran DJ, having rocked parties from San Francisco to St. Paul, from Oregon to Osaka. After moving to Minneapolis from St. Louis in 2003, Mike immediately began throwing the "Let's Get Electric" party in First Avenue's V.I.P. room (now The Record Room), a monthly excursion into Miami Bass, Southern Bounce, 1980s pop classics, disco, and post-punk.
PAPER TIGER
Paper Tiger is the producer responsible for some of Doomtree’s most memorable singles. “Game Over,” his cut with emcee Mike Mictlan, helped land Doomtree’s self-titled disc at the #1 spot on CMJ’s hip hop charts. “Low Light Low Life” became a crowd favorite on P.O.S’ critically acclaimed Never Better. “The Chaconne,” released on Dessa’s A Badly Broken Code, featured Grammy-nominated Matthew Santos and installed the record on Billboard’s R&B, rap, and indie charts. He’s also served as Doomtree’s live DJ, in his signature white-rimmed shades.
