Every Saturday in The Record Room
Saturday nights in the Record Room are thudding with the sounds of the underground while an eclectic mix of party-goers gather downstairs for Too Much Love. The music upstairs - a fervent big brother to the sounds below - is hosted by techno heads Particle People, techno/house dynamos Loud + Clear, and funky house doctors HotDish. These three crews work collectively to institute a dance-culture favorite in Minneapolis - fittingly dubbed BLACK (if you've been in the Record Room, you know why).

Hailing from Chicago, Chris has never been a stranger to house music, laying steady footprints down in both the dj and production scene. What started as a necessary hobby over 10 years ago has evolved into a steady push of Chicago-influenced house music to all parts of the country and overseas as well. Chris has seen reviews for his material published near and far, and most recently noted as an Artist of the Month in URB Magazine.

HotDish is both a collaborative of djs (Nate Laurence & J. Matthews) and a Minneapolis-based event crew. HotDish values the diversity of EDM in the Midwest, yet it is our aim to provide a space for - above all else - funky, new-school, and soulful house music in the Twin Cities.
