Ryan Simatic exists in the margins of the Techno community. Although he once owned an independent record store, and has been DJing for over 10 years, his gigs are primarily family affairs located in haunts common to fans of Minneapolis electronic music. Study has cut into some of the time once reserved for bass bins, but Simatic still manages to DJ the odd party, record the occasional mix, produce a worthwhile track, and brew a decent beer (his IPA is decent, seriously).
