AUDIO INJECTION
Since being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's, Audio Injection has been hooked. At the early age of 15 he started Djing and playing out at local underground events and raves around the Southern California area. You would find him spinning various styles from house, acid, & techno to hardcore techno.

After years of Djing he then decided to learn to produce his own music, which landed him releas...es on techno labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, & local label Droid Recordings. Since being associated with local event production group Droid Behavior in 2003, you can find him as a resident at the infamous Interface warehouse events as well as a regular producer for Droid Recordings along with Drumcell (Co-Founder of Droid Behavior).
Audio Injection has become one of the West Coast’s most prolific techno producers in 2010 which took him to Berlin to play at the world famous Berghain with Drumcell & Chris Liebing, and also landed many releases on labels such as Electric Deluxe, CLR, Timefog, Sleaze, Impact Mechanics, Ground Factory, Monocline, and many more. Audio Injection continues to shape his own sound and collaborate with Drumcell to release more mind-bending techno, putting Los Angeles & Droid Recordings on the techno map.

Joseph Manumaleuna aka DJ Hyperactive leaped up out of Chicago right at the peak of his career on a straight shot to SoCal to take on the daunting challenge of opening a record store, managing 4 Track Records, and jumping on planes. Come 1998 it nearly tapped him out and set him into seclusion for nearly a ten year hiatus. Here we are again, woken from all of the murmuring amidst a culture and scene who's nearly seen the complete obliteration of vinyl production and distribution stateside with having to lean heavily on the feeds from abroad. They say you're only as good as your last output. Let's see if he can pick up where he left off nearly a decade ago...

Loud + Clear presents BLACK every third Saturday night of the month at First Avenue's RECORD ROOM, hosted by Aaron Litschke and Matt Veloce. Dedicated to supporting and sustaining a culture of electronic dance music in the Twin Cities, Loud + Clear places an emphasis on providing the community with cutting-edge techno and house music. Combining both traditional and contemporary concepts, the creativity of the DJs showcased at our events is sure to surprise and delight even the most enlightened electronic dance music fan.

Every Saturday in The Record Room
Saturday nights in the Record Room are thudding with the sounds of the underground while an eclectic mix of party-goers gather downstairs for Too Much Love. The music upstairs - a fervent big brother to the sounds below - is hosted by techno heads Particle People, techno/house dynamos Loud + Clear, and funky house doctors HotDish. These three crews work collectively to institute a dance-culture favorite in Minneapolis - fittingly dubbed BLACK (if you've been in the Record Room, you know why).
