Sioux Falls, SD may not be famed for its hip-hop credentials, but as sure as your eyes are reading these words, a change is on the way. And that change is Trey Lane. Born in Long Beach, California, Lane has built his reputation and respect from day one, through his steadfast work ethic and willingness to take on the hip-hop world. In his own words, this MC is “always on my hustle, always on my grind”…an artist who’s in it to win when all others seem content just to mimic.

In his career thus far, Lane has self-released four albums, the most recent of which; All Things Considered hit stores in December ’09. His solid DIY mentality has enabled Trey Lane to develop his creative talents by constantly performing, touring and writing new material – always pushing forward in the true spirit of his influences, which range from old school Biggie right up to the newest Jay-Z. It’s enough to make you wonder when he rests. Short answer – not often. Lane knows that to make it to the top in the hip-hop world, you need commitment. Commitment to the art, to creating killer beats and catchy rhymes, all while drawing on his own life as inspiration for his lyrics. Making it easy for listeners everywhere (and anywhere) to relate to his songs.
Having already shared the stage with artists such as The Game, Tech N9ne, E40, David Banner, Flo Rida,Twista and Murs, Lane performed at the 2010 Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Festival, and represented the American Movement at the Sioux Falls Festival of International Culture. In addition, his latest single, “Far Away”, was a the #1 most requested track on KKCK Radio in April 2010. Overall, Trey Lane stands out through his sheer class. To the uninitiated, hip-hop can seem superficial, rough, or even violent. But whilst Lane’s material and flow is that of a hip-hop artist, his style is elegant and business-like. A diamond in the rough, a star in the making, and one more than capable of consistently delivering the kind of “in your face” set that will leave you fired up, engaged and pumping. The word is out. Muja Messiah was named City Pages Best Hip-Hop Artist 2009, Star Tribune's Best Local records 2009, The Onion 's Local Artist of the decade. Muja Messiah was featured on Atmosphere's Strictly Leakage on "Crewed Up", URB Next 100, with "Beautiful" ft. Samahra (Black Blondie). Muja Messiah released MPLS Massacre vol.1. in 2008 with its more hardcore, aggressive tracks including the internet jumps "Amy Winehouse" and M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes".

Anthony Colletti aka Fresco (DOB: 1-16-1988) Born and Raised in Rockford, Illinois. Recently Graduated from Madison Media Institute earning a degree in Audio Engineering. Fresco stormed into the battle scene in 2008 and his status catapulted after being brought into the Grind Time Battle Circuit. So after 2 years of many wins a couple of close losses, his debut mix cd was released on March 19, 2010.
BLACK LUNG
As a product of the 90s, Black Lung strives to reach out to the generation he once left behind. Originally hailing from the Mississippi waters of Iowa and Illinois, Black Lung is a different breed of rapper. Touching on subjects that we all can relate to such as women, drugs, friends and well, more drugs. He reflects his surroundings with a funhouse mirror and projects them onto rhythms with striking clarity and wit. From Iowa to Chicago, everywhere in between and around, he can be found at dive bars and large venues alike rocking crowds with an energy matched by few of his peers.
