Saturday nights in the Record Room are thudding with the sounds of the underground while an eclectic mix of party-goers gather downstairs for Too Much Love. The music upstairs - a fervent big brother to the sounds below - is hosted by techno heads Particle People, techno/house dynamos Loud + Clear, and funky house doctors HotDish. These three crews work collectively to institute a dance-culture favorite in Minneapolis - fittingly dubbed BLACK (if you've been in the Record Room, you know why).
GENERAL MALICE
With over 40+ releases, General Malice continues to pave the way for the Hardstep – Bboy jungle sound, dubstep and Hip-Hop. Bringing to the table a combination of raw Hip Hop & Dancehall flavors mixed with hard crashing drums banged out on an MPC. Darkside drum and bass mixed with the soul & vibe of the oldskool. The General Malice sound has garnered an army of rugged junglists from LA to Tokyo. His dub plates & releases have been rocked by names such as : Starscream , RAW, CRS?
AARON BLISS
Originally from New Orleans, Aaron Hart aka Aaron Bliss has been actively promoting, DJing and performing live PA’s since his move to the Midwest in 1995. His move to the Midwest came after a brief but intense 2 plus-year induction period to the underground techno sound via the New York City Rave Scene from 93-95, which landed Aaron smack dab in the middle of a dance music epoch that changed his life forever.

EASYRIDER
One of the originators of the midwest jungle movement, Easyrider has guided the development of Minnesota's scene and sounds as part of the infamous Jungle Vibe Collective, the 2step garage crew Stepper's Alliance and label Alliance Recordings, as well as one of Minneapolis' most longest running and successful bi-weekly club nights, Konkrete Jungle Minneapolis.
MODEST
On the decks for over a decade, Modest has been destroying dance floors in Minneapolis and across the nation. A metal head at heart, Modest was immediately drawn to the aggressive genre of Drum n Bass/ Jungle. His fast paced energetic style is always a crowd pleaser. Playing a wide variety of DnB from producers ranging from High Contrast and Danny Byrd to Evol Intent and Spor. You can catch him in the First Ave.
