First Avenue and The Fine Line present THE DAMNWELLS
THE DAMNWELLS
The Damnwells is a band. They have instruments. They make records and play shows. You should buy a record or come to a show or both. Songwriter Alex Dezen and bassist Ted Hudson met in college, played in a few bands, drank, and moved to Brooklyn. This is where they met David Chernis and Steven Terry who had both been playing in no less than 567 bands. In 2007, David Chernis and Steven Terry left the band. Now Ted Hudson and Alex Dezen prank call them in the middle of the night. Let’s drink Beer.

HARPER BLYNN
Philadelphia, 11:47 AM: The members of Harper Blynn find themselves in an unusual situation. Standing on the sidewalk outside the Philadelphia Academy of Music, they watch as a cadre of beefy union guys unload the band’s equipment out of the Dodge Sprinter van they call home for most of the year.
HOWARD JENNINGS
Former business major turned singer-songwriter, Howard Jennings “has an undeniable knack for catchy melodies” (Seven Days) and has become known as an engaging and magnetic live performer. He’s toured nationally with Vertical Horizon, Rusted Root and Ryan Cabrera and has supported Marcy Playground and Eve 6. This New York based artist, who has averaged over 100 shows a year and traveled as far as Singapore to perform, “is building steady career momentum” (The Daily News).
