Every Saturday in The Record Room

Saturday nights in the Record Room are thudding with the sounds of the underground while an eclectic mix of party-goers gather downstairs for Too Much Love. The music upstairs - a fervent big brother to the sounds below - is hosted by techno heads Particle People, techno/house dynamos Loud + Clear, and funky house doctors HotDish. These three crews work collectively to institute a dance-culture favorite in Minneapolis - fittingly dubbed BLACK (if you've been in the Record Room, you know why).

Special Guests / Opening Acts:

DJ TERRY MULLAN

Terry Mullan, Chicago's turntablist extraordinaire, turns out dance floors week after week throughout the US and abroad. Any true fan of House Music knows his name, and celebrates his amazing DJ sets. His credits include Coachella, Sullivan Room, Bugged Out, The End, Footwork, and Ruby Skye amongst raves as far off as Japan, Australia and Germany. He has developed a faithful following to those who know through his signature style of funky quirky jacking acid house combined with cutting and scratching making up an entirely new genre all his own.

CHUCK LOVE

Hailing from the US, Chuck Love embeds & spreads his unique brand of high energy, Dance Music, around the globe; raising rooftops, smoldering subwoofers and packing dancefloors. Known for his signature “Live DJ/Video” set, Chuck pulls triple duty as the DJ, a Vocalist and a Multi-Instrumentalist. The result: a ridiculous mix with some slamming, ‘on-the-fly-produced’ tracks showcased within the set.

DANIEL PAUL aka GHETTO

Daniel Paul aka Ghetto can fit at anytime anywhere. He's played the opening, the warm up and the main, but has yet to close the night down. As you can imagine, expect a solid, late night deep beat down session from Ghetto!!
