Every Saturday in The Record Room
Saturday nights in the Record Room are thudding with the sounds of the underground while an eclectic mix of party-goers gather downstairs for Too Much Love. The music upstairs - a fervent big brother to the sounds below - is hosted by techno heads Particle People, techno/house dynamos Loud + Clear, and funky house doctors HotDish. These three crews work collectively to institute a dance-culture favorite in Minneapolis - fittingly dubbed BLACK (if you've been in the Record Room, you know why).
JAMES HAMMER
James Hammer is a techno producer and DJ from Minneapolis, Minneasota USA. He started DJing in 1996 and has played the party and club scene in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Denver and Canada. In 2005 James started producing the same kind of straight forward pure techno he enjoyed playing out. Since then he has produced quality techno for labels such as Relief Records, Naked Lunch, Mixtape Records, Reldz Recordings, Sonic Mind Records, and Dirty Planet Records.
