BLACK
Every Saturday in The Record Room
Saturday nights in the Record Room are thudding with the sounds of the underground while an eclectic mix of party-goers gather downstairs for Too Much Love. The music upstairs - a fervent big brother to the sounds below - is hosted by techno heads Particle People, techno/house dynamos Loud + Clear, and funky house doctors HotDish. These three crews work collectively to institute a dance-culture favorite in Minneapolis - fittingly dubbed BLACK (if you've been in the Record Room, you know why).
LOUD + CLEAR
Loud + Clear presents BLACK every third Saturday night of the month at First Avenue's RECORD ROOM, hosted by Aaron Litschke and Matt Veloce. Dedicated to supporting and sustaining a culture of electronic dance music in the Twin Cities, Loud + Clear places an emphasis on providing the community with cutting-edge techno and house music. Combining both traditional and contemporary concepts, the creativity of the DJs showcased at our events is sure to surprise and delight even the most enlightened electronic dance music fan.
CENTRIFIC
If you’ve ever seen Centrific play, then you already know why he’s an artist to be familiar with. If you’ve never seen him play, then you haven’t experienced what the Minneapolis electronic music scene is really about. He is hands down the most innovative DJ in the city, and possibly the Midwest. With an ear for good music that’s unrivaled by most, Centrific continues to break down barriers brought on by genre classifications and close-minded people. Steve Seuling’s passion and creativity has inspired every techno DJ in Minneapolis, in one way or another.
AARON LITSCHKE
Having launched his career from the trenches of the mid-90s rave scene, Aaron Litschke (aka "Little Aaron") became a veteran behind the decks at a young age. That experience has helped shape his unique style and deep track collection; blending classic tracks with new, unreleased beaters that heads will surely appreciate. His layered blend of techno, house and acid has kept feet moving across America: from Chicago to Portland, San Diego to Detroit. Behind the decks, his enthusiasm is infectious.
HART THORSON
Hart has been shaping the way people view Trance music for the last several years in the Twin Cities.
