FACE FORWARD
Face Forward (FF) is an organization of adults in the Twin Cities that has an ultimate goal of providing experience and exposure for local artists, while at the same time utilizing diverse talents to contribute to the common good of humanity. Face Forward hopes to raise awareness about humanitarian and justice issues by gathering people together for artistic endeavors and events. Art is a powerful vessel to induce change, and it is Face Forward's goal to provide an outlet for artists to successfully find their voice for change in the Twin Cities.
MUSAB
Musab has a way of telling tragedy without bloodshed, guns or drugs - his lyrics somehow are more thrilling and dramatic than these typical gangster rap subjects. His songs tell another side to the American ghetto, that of the black American pimp. A modern day, real life pimp, he puts his own twist on the pimp game and translates it into the rap game. Often glamorized in pop culture and rap music videos as a plush lifestyle, Sab will be the first to say that's a big misconception.
TOKI WRIGHT
Raised in a Buddhist household, immersing himself in Black history, world culture, and community work, Toki Wright’s awareness of the diverse world we live in is translated through his content driven music. He has taken paths that run the gamut from a non-profit youth organization in North Minneapolis to work with war-affected children in Northern Uganda. As an artist, Wright’s travels have taken him throughout the United States and Canada as support and hypeman for Brother Ali. Other performance credits include Soundset, Coachella, CMJ, Bumbershoot , Paid Dues, Scribble Jam, and SXSW.
LONGSHOT
A well seasoned emcee from Chicago, Longshot recently moved to Minneapolis after getting signed with Rhymsayers Entertainment. Longshot recorded a song, 'hip hop is', and entered it in a Jake One/Rhymesayers Entertainment song writing contest. After over 1,000 entries and over 7,000 votes, Longshot was chosen as the winner, and will have his next single produced by Jake One and distributed by Rhymesayers Enertainment.

Chris Heidman knows electronic music. Jeff Lorentzen knows R&B/hip hop flavor.
DJ BOOKA B
Booka B (aka Adam Bucher) is a native to the Twin Cities and has been DJing and producing since the mid 90’s. In 2005 he released his mostly instrumental album Basementality, and in 2007, with MC and beat box artist Carnage, released the album Sense Of Sound. As a producer, Booka B has worked with a host of artists including Slug, Eyedea & Abilities, P.O.S., Toki Wright, Desdamona, Heiruspecs, Michael Lewis, Anomaly, and Jeremy Ylvisaker.
