Created for your enjoyment, HotDish once again has the party NOT to be missed. If you hate partying, having fun, dancing, smiling, laughing, meeting fun people, etc., then this isnt for you. But something tells us that you LOVE all this stuff so we have decided to bring in two of the funkiest DJs in the Twin Cities.
Jevne (One Thirty Recordings, Mpls) - Record Label Owner, Music Producer, and legendary 612 DJ. Jevne is an absolu...te win every time. Whether it be guest appearances rockin the mpls clubs, groovin in the swank of Honey, or touring globally, Jevne brings hard core justice to the dance floors. Learn more about Jevne @ djjevne.com. Brownie (Detroit Ninja Academy & The Club Scouts) - Secretly stalking the night, ready to pounce the dance floors, Brownie is a treat (no pun intended) for the HotDish homies. Known to rock out dance parties, get down in disco attire, and plain out funk it, we are super excited to have Brownie play. Its way over due, so get in early.
What are shows are all about:
HotDish - We are Nate Laurence and J Matthews. We are two nerdy white kids that get worked up when you get worked up on the dance floor. We are the hosts and residents of this night and are always looking for the new and fresh. Come get it with us this party time weekend. Our goal each show is to bring smiles and tears of joy to you. Melt faces if you will. We party hardy and love the early dancing crowd. We are starting to see a trend here. You come to party early and we love it!! Minneapolis needs to party harder and we want to be the catalyst for this.

This is a $5 show and you will have full access to the main room too! So if you love TML, and want to get a taste of some HotDish, enter the Record Room door on the right side of the building. You will have to pay a crossover fee of $3 if you enter from inside the main room, and we would hate for you to pay more money when you can get two rooms for less.

Cover is $5 at the Record Room entrance on the right hand side of the building. This is an 18+ event. 18 to party, 21 to drink. 50+ to bitch about how loud the music is and that your hip hurts. Every Saturday in The Record Room
Saturday nights in the Record Room are thudding with the sounds of the underground while an eclectic mix of party-goers gather downstairs for Too Much Love. The music upstairs - a fervent big brother to the sounds below - is hosted by techno heads Particle People, techno/house dynamos Loud + Clear, and funky house doctors HotDish. These three crews work collectively to institute a dance-culture favorite in Minneapolis - fittingly dubbed BLACK (if you've been in the Record Room, you know why).
HOTDISH
HotDish is both a collaborative of djs (Nate Laurence & J. Matthews) and a Minneapolis-based event crew. HotDish values the diversity of EDM in the Midwest, yet it is our aim to provide a space for - above all else - funky, new-school, and soulful house music in the Twin Cities.
JEVNE
Known for playing live bass guitar along with his dj sets, Jevne has really set him self apart! Jevne has been mixing and playing bass for over 17 years and fuses live six string bass guitar with original house music & edits while in the mix! From deep to teky from soulful to pumping, Jevne's sets are a journey through house music. Finding his love for dance music back in the late 80's attending rave events in Minneapolis, Jevne's passion for music later led him to pick up djing in Colorado in 93.
