GRANT HART

Hüsker Dü was founded by Grant Hart, Greg Norton and Bob Mould in 1979. Only 17, Grant Hart was nonetheless a veteran of a handful of previous bands and had already been playing music professionally since the age of 13. Hüsker Dü made several records for the legendary "SST" label including the much-loved Zen Arcade, New Day Rising and Flip Your Wig. Moving on to Warner Brothers Records in 1985 they made two fine albums, 1986's Candy Apple Grey and the band's second double album, Warehouse.

Comedian MARY MACK

Folk humorist Mary Mack spends half her time convincing her Minnesotan mother it's okay for her daughter to be a comedian and the other half touring the country in her sweet, 400 dollar Dodge Neon--affectionately referred to as "Street Heat."   Mack and her mandolin sing-alongs, have been featured on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show, XM's National Lampoon's Comedy Network, and Minnesota's Polka Spotlight.

BABY GUTS

Baby Guts on Myspace

Baby Guts, who's name humorously translates into, "infant courage" is a punk rock trio with influences ranging from Nirvana to ASS to Bikini Kill. The original members, Laura Larson and Taylor Motari met in high school in Burnsville MN, playing in separate bands of their own until forming together with drummer Brandon Lentz. With ambition to successfully move away from the suburbs and into a more meaningful abode, Laura and Taylor relocated the band to Minneapolis.
