Berkeley-based WHY? creates a nearly indescribable fusion of hip hop and indie pop, held together by complex and cryptic lyrics. They'll be joined by San Fransisco experimental quartet Deerhoof, who have a knack for making noisy, multi-genre songs that feature both English and Japanese lyrics. Ohio folk rockers Southeast Engine will be opening.
